Skincare can be confusing and with so many products, it’s sometimes hard to know in which order to apply products in your routine. Here’s a few easy ways to help distinguish how to layer your products:
- As a rule of thumb, skincare should generally be applied in the order of the thinnest texture to the thickest texture.
- Sunscreen should be always applied last in your morning skincare routine to ensure your skin is well protected from the sun.
- If you wear make up, this should be applied on top of your skincare.
- Most prescription Software formulas should be applied in your evening routine unless otherwise specified.
Changes in weather or seasons may require adjustments in skincare such as an increase in moisturisers during cooler months so we recommend listening to your skin and adjusting your routine accordingly.
